Marie Neal is president of South University – Austin. Neal has nine years of experience in higher education leadership. Prior to her appointment as president, Neal served as Senior Director of Admissions at South University’s Savannah campus, where she ensured consistent admissions growth and assisted in campus budgeting, accreditation, and programmatic developments.
Before joining South University, Neal served as Senior Director of Admissions of Argosy University’s Tampa campus and Director of Admissions at Argosy University’s Nashville campus. Her accomplishments include successfully managing admissions teams, creating and cultivating positive community and corporate partnerships, and co-authoring the Tampa campus’ reaccreditation self-study for the Higher Learning Commission.
Neal earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama with a concentration in new venture management, and holds a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences magna cum laude from Cumberland University. Additionally, she is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Argosy University and expects to graduate in 2011.
