Seth Saunders is the President of South University – Virginia Beach. He brings with him nine years of experience in higher education, eight years of which were in administration. He most recently served as the Vice President of Admissions for Laureate Higher Education Group, overseeing its two U.S. campuses, where he was responsible for all aspects of admissions. Also for Laureate, Mr. Saunders served as a Senior Consultant for Mexico and Central America, providing insights and process improvements for the admissions staff at one of the largest campus-based universities in Mexico. He has held positions of increasing responsibility at institutions of higher education including Walden University and the University of Phoenix. He has experience managing a large, geographically diverse staff and in creating a campus culture filled with faculty members who have a passion for helping students succeed.
Being in the community and with alumni is a consistent thread in Mr. Saunders’ career. In 2003, he was the United Way Campaign Chair for Laureate. He served as the Alumni Chapter President for Brigham Young University in Baltimore, Maryland, and in Mexico City, Mexico.
Saunders attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Communications. He earned a Master of Business Administration in Global Management and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
