Trisha M. Earls, J.D., was named Vice President of Human Resources at South University in October 2009. Earls comes to South University after serving the Savannah College of Art and Design for two years as Vice President for Human Resources, where she led the redesign and launch of a web-based performance management system that focused on teaching and leadership proficiencies and could monitor outcomes.
Earls graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1995. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the College of Charleston in 1992.
For six years post law school, Earls litigated labor and employment cases for Fisher & Phillips, LLP, in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2001, she began working in human resources for Equifax, Inc., also in Atlanta, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources. She is a member of the Georgia Bar in the Labor and Employment Law section.
