The Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) program at South University’s campus in Columbia, South Carolina, is designed to provide progressive, quality post-graduate education for the pharmacy profession’s future practitioners. After being accepted to the South University School of Pharmacy, students begin an accelerated, full-time 12-quarter schedule designed to provide four academic years in three calendar years. This accelerated pace, available only in a handful of institutions in the country, allows students an earlier entry into the workforce.

The didactic program is delivered by synchronous video conferencing technology with real-time interaction between faculty and students on both campuses in Savannah, GA and Columbia, SC. Within the educational experience, students also maintain individualized attention through comparably equipped laboratory facilities, physical assessment laboratories, small group recitations and problem based learning activities conducted by faculty on both campuses.
