Authorization & Licensure
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at South University is authorized to operate by the Florida State Board of Nursing, the Alabama Board of Nursing, and the South Carolina Board of Nursing. It is licensed to award the degree of Bachelor of Science by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, and the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
The baccalaureate degree program in Nursing at West Palm Beach and at Tampa are also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One DuPont Circle, NM, Suite 530, Washington DC 20036-1120; 202-887-6791; http://www.aacn.nche.edu/.

The nursing program is approved by the State of Florida Department of Veterans Affairs and South Carolina State Office of Veterans Affairs, Division of Veterans Benefits and Assistance, for Veterans Training.
